Cross Country 305 Classic

On October 24th, the Cross Country team competed at the 305 Classic held the Larry & Penny Thompson Park.

Both the boys’ and girls’ 1st Place Varsity winners were CEA students!

Miles Charles (8th grade) won the Boys’ Varsity race in a time of 12:02.7, which is the 21st fastest time ever at that park. 

Valentina Sarcos (7th grade) also won the Girls’ Varsity race in a time of 13:05.4, which is the six fastest time in the history of the park. 

As a school, the boys finished 3rd overall!

Medallists on the boys side included:

Brendan Telleria – 15th 
Nickolas Canela – 18th

Personal records were also set by Noah Velilla, Lucas Suarez, Faid Chiong, Daniel Ladron de Guevara, Matthew Perez, and Edgar Gonzalez.

Ariana Martinez – 17th

JV Girls
Gia Milkuski – 9th 
Valentina Sanchez – 12th 
Jaelynn Perez – 14th

Personal records were also set by Gianna Palma and Maria Camila Gonzalez, and Ariana Martinez now climbs into the 20th all time in our history.
