Each year the Esencia Literary Magazine Mastery program compiles their writing throughout the year to design and create a published literary magazine. The 2026 Esencia Literary Magazine, This is How We Shine, features the work of the students in the junior and senior mastery, as well as poems, stories, reflections, and artwork by students across grade levels.
Magazine Mastery students not only produce original content, but they also help select and edit writing from other grade levels, create and select original artwork, lay out the magazine, and edit each others’ work, under the guidance of Ms. Julio, Mrs. Munar, and Ms. Ubieta.
