Directed by our second grade team, Mrs. Llerena, Ms. Estevez, and Mrs. Valhuerdi, the Second Grade Play has been a Conchita tradition for close to 40 years and a milestone that CEA students hold dear to their hearts for the rest of their lives.
Our second grade students did a beautiful job presenting the original Christmas story. They sang, danced, narrated, and did a wonderful job, as they grew in many ways, but most importantly in their understanding of the true meaning of Christmas.
Thank you to the incredible team of teachers and administrators who made this performance possible: Mrs. Llerena, Ms. Estevez, and Mrs. Valhuerdi, our dedicated and exceptional second grade team, Mrs. Lacayo (religion), Ms. Danella (dance), Ms. Stephanie (dance), Ms. Yirka (music), Mrs. Rajo, Mrs. Castillo, Ms. Frades, and Ms. Diaz, as well as everyone else who contributed in multiple ways. Thank you to our amazing parents, who supported by setting up the stage and helping in numerous ways backstage.
Traditions like this one are an important part of our school’s history and legacy. We are grateful for this amazing team who works to keep the tradition alive!
