The weekend of October 24th, the Senior Dance Mastery traveled to Gainesville, Florida to participation in the Florida Dance Association’s annual Young Dancer Workshop. Our dancers took class alongside other young Florida dancers in a variety of styles, including ballet, African, modern, and musical theatre, among others. They performed in the Saturday evening showcase. Their piece, “Birds on a Wire,” choreographed by Ms. Danella Bedford, was inspired by the migration of birds. The dancers did an incredible job in all of their classes, and their performance was absolutely flawless!
We are so grateful to Ms. Danella, CEA/CEC Ballet, Lyrical, and Jazz Department Head, for being such a beautiful example of leadership, character, discipline, and grace for her young dancers. Not only are you an outstanding and dedicated dance teacher, but you are an incredible human being who inspires your dancers to be better people and dancers each day! Thank you for everything you do!
