The Class of 2014 8th graders worked together on a project that they could give to the school as a way to preserve their legacy as a class.

Each homeroom formed teams and worked together to create a special monument for Conchita Espinosa Academy. Mrs. Julio's class worked together to create a life-size papier mache cougar. Mrs. Jackson's class worked together to create an 8 foot tall number 8 with their writings from their years at CEA. Both classes learned how to work as a community, with each individual using his or her talents to create the final product. The classes divided into teams that would best utilize their skills, including planning, design, film, documentation, marketing and public relations, building, and fundraising. Thank you to Mrs. Julio and Mrs. Jackson, as well as to the parents who helped our 8th graders make this happen! Congratulations once more on your graduation! Your legacy will always be cherished at Conchita.
