On Saturday, May 17th the Track & Field season ended with the State Championships held at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
Aiden Cruz won the 1500m and became our first ever Elementary Track State 1st Place Champion!
Aiden also medaled in the 800m finishing in 3rd place.
Brendan Borges-Telleria and Charles Perez finished 18th and 30th in the 1500m respectively.
Valentina Sarcos finished in 20th place in the 3K with a school record time of 11:21.45. Graziella Gerstl finished in 33rd in the 3k. Valentina & Graziella came back to finish 27th and 49th respectively in the 1500m.
The boys 4x800m team, consisting of Iker Garcia, Gilberto Avila, Lorenzo Montoya and Miles Charles, finished 23rd in the state overall.
