St. Augustine, Florida

Each year, the fourth grade travels to St. Augustine and Cape Canaveral, Florida, as an extension of the yearlong focus on Florida Studies. The St. Augustine class trip brings history to life. After spending the year discovering and learning about our state’s rich history, students travel as a class to experience what they have read and learned about. Students visit the Old Florida Museum, a Spanish Village, a Pioneer Village, the Fountain of Youth, lighthouse, and finish the trip with a special visit to Kennedy Space Center.

*The trip to St. Augustine takes place every year and includes students in the current fourth grade class.
