“CEA is a place where one finds their passions and can pursue them with the support of the faculty and staff. The support of the faculty and staff goes beyond one’s time at Conchita and they are always willing to support you unconditionally in whatever endeavors you pursue following your time at CEA. Mentors play a big role in one’s life and Coach Carlos Salvat has been that person in my life. He encouraged me to start running when I was in 6th grade and since then he fostered a love for running which I did not know I had. Until this day, he keeps up with my results and checks in with me after every race to ask me how my race went or congratulate me after having a good result. I am forever grateful to Coach Carlos mentoring me during my years at Conchita and I fondly look back to memories created during this period of my life. Lastly, the school fosters a healthy environment allowing for the creation of lifelong friendships. Some of my closest friendships were developed in CEA and these friendships continued past our days at Conchita.”
