Caring Cougars Junior Mastery is hosting their annual “Maria Bonita” drive to benefit women and mothers in need through VIP-305, a local non-profit that works as an intermediary between schools and larger non-profit organizations. VIP-305 will deliver everything we collect to women being supported by Lotus House and Hermanos de la Calle.
In preparation for Mother’s Day, they will be collecting new and used women’s purses and much-needed toiletries and hygiene items to help women who have limited access to these items that are necessary for their day-to-day to be able to find work and live with dignity. Students are invited to join the initiative by donating women’s purses and toiletry items listed in the flier below and bringing them to their classrooms. The drive starts this week and will continue until April 14th.
