K3, K4, and K5 (Pre-primary)
The goal of the early childhood program at CEA is to provide students with the opportunity to develop the natural curiosity and sense of wonder inherent in all children. During distance learning, early childhood teachers aim to continue to create experiences that enhance each child’s intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth while honoring the unique time in life known as childhood.
Every day includes designated synchronous (face-to-face) classroom time, providing our youngest learners the opportunity to engage in conversation, share their ideas, and establish and nurture the connection with their teachers and classmates. The early childhood environment is designed to foster cooperation, independence, and creativity. Teachers work as facilitators to engage their students and guide them through hands-on activities and story time sessions that stimulate their learning and prompt them as active participators in their learning community. Students continue to partake in daily music classes, as well as Spanish, creative movement, religion and P.E. Exploration, music, and learning through play continues to be an essential element to each day.
