BEAUX ARTS FESTIVAL OF ART STUDENT ARTISTS SHOWCASE
We are proud to announce that five of our middle school students’ art works were chosen as finalists in the juried Student Artists Showcase of the Annual Beaux Arts Festival of Art. Bianca Madrigal was awarded 1st place in graphics out of all middle school entries for her work, Forever Young.
Melanie Malagon was awarded 2nd place in graphics out of all middle school entries for her work, Aquario Rhino. (see below)

Catherine Guerra’s Rhino –Bubble Trouble and Self-Portrait - My Name Is Catherine, and Nicole Hawkins’ Rhino#14 were also chosen as finalists.

In the photography category, Laura Pedre’s photo Zero-G Girls was selected to be exhibited in the showcase. These works of art will be displayed at the Lowe Art Museum, 1301 Stanford Drive, Coral Gables from January 7-9. Congratulations to these young artists and their teachers, Deborah Marlin for art and Carlos Echenique for photography.
