This class incorporates a cardiovascular warm-up, and exercises that focus on body posture, muscular strength, and stretches. This class is not only geared to providing and reinforcing proper body alignment and strength in our dancers, but is also open to adults who want to improve their core strength and take care of their bodies. Stretch and Strength is designed to increase flexibility and muscular strength with a variety of floor exercises, the use of Thera-Bands and stability balls.
It is taught once a week, for anyone (Forest Green Ballet level and up) who wants to exercise and gain muscle strength. It is open to different levels because this is not a technique class, but one to improve physical strength. Thera-Bands are required and are available for purchase at the school. Students must also bring their own yoga mat.   |
