Conchita Espinosa Conservatory of the Arts is committed to developing and training young artists.
Our courses are designed to meet the needs and interests of students dedicated to furthering their natural artistic talents. Students are expected to commit to the discipline and put forth the necessary effort to grow.
The Conservatory offers group classes in Dance, Theater, Martial Arts and Visual Arts, along with private and group Music classes. Enrollment is open to the community and not limited to students from the Academy. Classes are also available for professionals and adults.
Our conservatory faculty is handpicked for their excellent teaching skills and their superb reputation in their respective areas of expertise. Equally important for us is that our faculty is able to impart respect and love for the arts to develop well-rounded artists.
Our founder, Conchita Espinosa, dedicated her life to guiding our youth. This formidable pedagogue founded her Conservatory in Havana, Cuba, in 1933. By 1959, it had grown into an arts conservatory and elementary school with over 450 students. Today, the Conchita Espinosa Conservatory of the Arts, along with the Academy (now a K4 through 8th Grade), continue to keep Conchita’s legacy alive and thriving, since opening its doors in Miami over 45 years ago.

Our director, Maribel Zubieta Diaz, was honored on Sunday, February 14, 2010, by New World School of the Arts Dance Division for her contributions to the growth and development of the arts and arts education in Miami. It's great when others acknowledge the wealth of wisdom and leadership we have in Mrs. Diaz!
