The Dance Advisory’s 2011 Calendar is being put together as we speak!
For the month of March, Ms. Danella sets up the shots with the help of volunteer parents and Conservatory teacher, Ms. Judy Ann Bassing, while her troupe of young tap students posed. In the wings, Pink Ballet waited for their turn, under the watchful eyes of four very capable assistants. The calendar is being photographed by Conservatory photography teacher, Carlos Echenique. All proceeds from the sale of the calendar benefit CEA’s Dance Advisory Program. The order form will be distributed soon so everyone can enjoy the beautiful pictures all through 2011!
Congratulations to Dance Advisory!
Big congratulations are also in order to CEA’s Senior Dance Advisory for having been chosen once again to perform in the Florida Dance Festival on Tour, Showcase Performance on Saturday, October 30 in Gainesville. Participants of the 2-day intensive dance workshop submit a piece, but few are chosen for the showcase. Bravo! The Senior Dance Advisory and their chaperones will be in Gainesville, along with Ms. Danella and our Kindergarten teacher’s aide, Ms. Eliana Yero, to attend a workshop sponsored by the Florida Dance Association, October 28-31.
