More Than A School

Once you are a member of the CEA family, you will always remain a part of the CEA family. The CEA family includes alumni, parents, and teachers and staff, who together make up the Faces of Conchita.

It brings us great joy to hear about the lives and achievements of our alumni and of those who have passed through our hallways throughout the years. For this reason, we have started the Faces of Conchita. Faces of Conchita is a way of keeping us united: alumni, parents and family members, and teachers and staff, by keeping everyone up to date with the happenings in our CEA community.

Please write to us to say hello. Write to us to tell us how you are doing and where life has taken you. No matter how much time has passed, the Faces of Conchita are clear in our minds and always present in our hearts. Each and every person who has passed through Conchita has left their unique mark, the same way that Conchita left a mark in you.

Elina Santana

Elina M. Santana, Esq. is an immigration attorney in her 10th year of practice focusing on family-based immigration and deportation defense. Ely was a student at CEA from pre-primary through eighth grade. "CEA taught me so many wonderful things. My years there shaped my sense of self. My teachers taught me how to develop independent thought, how to SPEAK UP against injustice, and most importantly, taught me the importance of empathy," she explains. Her main takeaway from CEA: "Spend your life doing what you are passionate about, whatever that may be; be the best lawyer, musician, or [fill in the blank] you can be; and take care of yourself and each other above all else."
